The Adventurers’ Guild is a collaborative tabletop role-playing series where teens (ages 14-18) create characters, explore dungeons, battle monsters, and shape adventures together using the easy-to-learn Shadowdark game system inspired by classic Dungeons & Dragons.

Players collaborate, strategize, improvise, and solve problems together in a fun, creative social environment where imagination and teamwork drive the story forward.

  • Not at all. Adventurers’ Guild is designed for both beginners and experienced players. We teach the game as we play, and new students are always welcome.

    The focus is on collaboration, creativity, and enjoyment - not rules mastery or competition.

  • Adventurers’ Guild is designed for teens (ages 14 - 18) who enjoy fantasy, storytelling, strategy, gaming, world-building, creative problem-solving, and/or collaborative play. The program is a great fit for both experienced tabletop players and students who are completely new to role-playing games.

  • We use Shadowdark, an easy-to-learn tabletop role-playing system inspired by classic Dungeons & Dragons. The focus is on creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and storytelling.

  • Students are welcome to bring their own dice, notebooks, character ideas, or game materials, but none are required. Basic materials will be available during sessions.

  • Adventurers’ Guild supports creativity, teamwork, communication, improvisation, strategic thinking, and collaborative storytelling — all through a fun, social format.

  • Yes! Attune Arts programs are designed to be welcoming and inclusive of different personalities, communication styles, learning differences, and support needs.

    Because this is a group program, students who require significant individualized assistance, medical, and/or behavioral support should have their caregiver available.

  • Many tabletop role-playing games naturally support social connection by giving players a shared goal and structured ways to participate. Students are encouraged to engage at their own comfort level, and there is no pressure to “perform” or act in a certain way.

  • Through collaborative play, many groups find that Adaptive Adventures support:

    • Social communication and connection

    • Collaboration, turn-taking, and teamwork

    • Flexible thinking and problem-solving

    • Emotional awareness and perspective-taking

    • Confidence, agency, and creative expression

  • Yes. Many students enjoy continuing tabletop campaigns over time, and Attune Arts is always happy to coordinate additional Adventurers’ Guild sessions and ongoing programming opportunities in the future based on group interest and enrollment.
